Get
Licensed
Step
1: Complete licensing course for insurance license.
Logon
to NAA ExamFx and click
new users.
Enter
the name Blackburn as your manager.
Select
your state from the drop down menu.
Select ExamFX
Ultimate for Life and Health ($154.95).
On
the next screen enter the required information.
Enter
your billing information and click process order.
Complete
the course and follow the instructions on how to submit your
certificate of
completion to your state Department of
Insurance.

Step
2: Complete NAA contract. (while waiting for test results)

3: Complete insurance carrier appointment paperwork. (while waiting for test results)
Do
not
date any of the paperwork yet because you are not licensed.
Make
sure to include the following with every
appointment request:

Step
4: After you pass your exam, get Errors & Ommissions insurance. (Choose 1 below.)
NAA E & O:
This program is available to all NAA agents regardless of which insurance company you are appointed with, including Foresters.
Foresters E & O:
This program is only available to agents who are appointed with Foresters.

Step
5: After
you pass your exam get registered with the state.
You
can register at the Department of Insurance website for your state but
sometimes it’s difficult to navigate through the state
department’s
website. I recommend using one of the
easy to use services below depending on which states you want to
register in
for about $10.

Here
is what to do at Sircon:
Click For Individual Agents
under the Product
&
Services section then click
Apply for License.
Select Individual
next to Residential
Application to
register in your state and Non
Residential for additional
states.
(You’ll have to complete this more than once
for multiple
states.)
Fill
in Last Name, Social Security Number, and choose Applicant
then click the State and click Continue.
Select
“No” on the next page, click Continue.
Check
Life, Accident, sickness, Health and
click Continue.
Fill
in appropriate information, click Continue. Answer
questions, click Continue.
Check I Agree and click Continue.
In
the Quantity column, enter a “1” under Appointment
Fee and a “1” under Life and/or Accident
&
Sickness and click Continue.
Review
application information. Click
on Click here to
view additional state requirements and print this page for your records.
Check
I understand that all license application fees
are non-refundable and click
Continue.
(There is a small charge less
than $10
for this service.)
Follow
the instructions on printed page from Step N to
complete the application
process after the
Pre-Licensing Course is
complete.

Here
is what to do at NIPR:
Click
Initial
License under Electronic Licensing.
(Resident is your home state and
Non-Resident is any other state
besides your
home.)
Scroll
down to bottom of page and click Begin.
Scroll
down and click Accept.
Select
the State, Individual and Apply
For New Resident
License. (Unless your
applying for out
of state obviously.)
Fill
in your social security number and last name and
click Next.
Proceed
through the rest of the application and make
payment.
Follow
the instructions on the printed page to
complete the application
process after the
Pre-Licensing Course is
complete.
Step
6: Begin Power Start™ Training
After
you've received
your insurance license, completed NAA contract and appointment paper work, and registered with the state Department of
Insurance
you will begin the
Power Start™
training.
